Our Programs

"Our programs provide a place for participants to belong, to voice their concerns and share hopes and dreams. It is a place where they can feel safe and connected when they have no or limited English language skills and have cultural barriers to overcome; they can get information and resources, learn new knowledge and skills, and share their experiences and challenges with others who are supportive and will seek solutions together.” — MFRS Staff, Parent-Child Program Coordinator

Youth Programs

From leadership development to community service opportunities, our programs provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to learn, grow, and make a positive impact in their communities.

English Classes

The program provides participants with learning opportunities to improve their foundational English skills and numeracy in a safe and welcoming social environment while improving their confidence and self-esteem and facilitating community integration.
